Our Rosso di Montalcino is indeed a great expression of Sangiovese - delivers depth, power, and elegance. Red cherry, black juicy plum, vanilla wood, black peppermint, and a hint of licorice. This intriguing baby Brunello's characteristics are enhanced by the typical dishes of Tuscan cuisine with a straightforward and decisive taste.

Grape variety: Sangiovese Grosso 100%

Colour: Ruby red color tending toward garnet, limpid.

Bouquet: enveloping and fragrant, with fruity notes well blended with woody scents.

Taste: Great body, structure, and tannins, soft but powerful.

Alcohol: 14,5%.

Serving Suggestions:

Game and aged cheeses medium aged.

Preferably served in a Ballon glass at 18°C. 

Ageing: The ageing in wood lasts 12 months in new barrels of Slavonian oak. The ageing in bottle lasts at least 4 months.

Production Area: It borns from the same Vineyards of Brunello di Montalcino. The Vineyards are in the hills of Montalcino, at different heights and with a sun exposure until sunset. The age of the vineyards from which we select the grapes destined to produce Brunello is more than 20 years. Average altitude of the vineyards: 250 mt s.l.m.

Soil: Mixed clay, very rich in skeleton.

Training System: Bilateral and balanced cordon.

Annual production: 20.000 bottles.
