Brunello Cru La Togata dei Togati

La Togata

A great ruby red Brunello and strong hints of berries with balsamic/spicy notes. Well-balanced tannins, elegant and persistent. WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT US: "Deep and intense, it wafts up with crushed black cherries and ashen stone complemented by rosy florals and hints of candle wax". This is energetic and lifted in feel, zesty acids motivating the mineral-tinged red fruits and cedary spices. It turns a bit chewy through the finale, offering grippy tannins and hints of sour cherry and licorice. Eric Guido for VINOUS.
