Pleasant, velvety drinking, easy and friendly to pair with all kinds of recipes. This amazing Super Tuscan made with Sangiovese, Syrah, and Merlot - is also called "the friendly wine" due to its simple body, and structure. Famous for its golden label, and for its absolutely fair price.

Grape Variety: Sangiovese, Syrah, Merlot.

Colour: Ruby red medium intensity with garnet nuances, limpid.

Bouquet: Ethereal with captivating scent, plums, tobacco, and a marked minerality due to the soil.

Taste: Smooth and pleasant.

Alcohol: 15%.

Preferably served in a Ballon glass at 18°C. 

Ageing: Ageing 6 months in Slavonian oak barrels of various sizes. Minimum 3 months ageing in bottle.

Production Area: The vineyards are in the hills of Montalcino, at different heights and with a sun exposure until sunset. Average altitude of the Vineyards: 250 mt. 15/20 years old in the South of Montalcino and the grapes are a mix of old and very old Vineyards.

Production System: Intensive extraction in the early stages of fermentation, followed by medium quiescent maceration on the marc; maximum temperature rise up to 30° C and allowed to drop during the final fermentation.

Soil: Tuffaceous clay, very rich in skeleton.

Training System: Bilateral and balanced cordon.

Annual production: 15.000 bottles.
