PRODUCTION AREA:

The vineyards are in the hills of Montalcino, at different heights and with a sun exposure until sunset. Average altitude of the vineyards: 250 mt s.l.m.

SOIL:

mixed clay, very rich in skeleton.

GRAPE VARIETY:

Sangiovese, Syrah, Merlot.

TRAINING SYSTEM:

bilateral and balanced cordon.

DENSITY FOR HECTARE:

5.500 

PRODUCTION SYSTEM:

Wood ageing for 18 months in small French oak barrels (barriques). At least 6 months ageing in bottle.

ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS:

Colour: intense rubine red with purple nuances,  limpid.

Bouquet: enveloping and fragrant, with fruity notes well blended with woody scents.

Sapore: great body, structure and tannins, soft but powerful.

All kind of dishes.

Serving temperature about 18/19°C, in large goblet.
